Square quarto. (10)ff. Eight chromolithographed volvelles give this series of nursery rhymes, among which is the tale of Little Red Riding Hood, a hide-and-seek quality, letting the reader participate directly in the narrative. All elements functional with ribbon pulls all present. Modest edgewear, some expected toning to the acidic paper, light soiling to covers, which show some rubbed spots where the compiled central rivets have left an outward divot on both covers. Overall near fine in pictorial boards backed in brown cloth.
