Folio. 13pp. Printed for Bernard Rosenthal and Zeitlin & Ver Brugge at the Plantin Press, with an original leaf printed on vellum by Peter Schoeffer at Mainz in 1472. It is one of the few leaf books to feature a vellum leaf from an actual incunable. The leaf bears 9 two- to four-line initials, 4 of which are hand-rubricated, all others in blue. The layout of its recto is particularly brilliant, with two columns of text encompassed by justified supplementary commentary. Bound in quarter vellum and marbled paper boards, lacking publisher's slipcase, as is often the case. Minor soiling to vellum, small red stain to title label, and split in marbled paper along overlap with vellum spine. Near fine overall.
