A kit for children to cut designs out of paper to craft shadowbox scenes on postcards. The child is invited to replicate any one of the exemplary scenes provided, or to create his or her own. Apparently complete, with ten black-and-white postcards, three example cards, four sheets of silhouette paper entirely black at verso and with outlines of figures at recto, instruction sheet, and a tiny sponge. No glue required - the paper's water-based adhesive activates with a small amount of humidity. A fascinating and altogether rare set, housed in box papered in red and with illustrated label at upper lid. Few motes of staining, light rubbing to corners, else near fine.
