Square quarto. Four cardboard discs which visually and haptically present four of Paz's poems, transforming them into a "game and ceremony" that initiates the reader into a participatory relationship with the word. The volvelle format bears affinities with the remits of surrealist experimentation, designed to engender a sense of play and a possibility of chance. The poems are: I. Juventud, II. Pasaje, III. Concorde, IV. Aspa. Discs designed by Vicente Rojo. These mildly rubbed and expectedly toned, else near fine. Housed in cloth-covered portfolio with printed titled to upper cover and editorial text to interior. This moderately rubbed, with fading to spine and interior offsetting from discs, and outer edge of pocket partially unglued. A quite poetic artifact.
