Illustrated with twenty-five woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer, many of which were cut here for the first time by master craftsman Fritz Kredel, using fifteenth century techniques. Prospectus laid in, along with an order slip, a proof sheet, and a copy of "The Book Collector" in which Kredel discusses his work for the book. Bound in quarter white pigskin with pale yellow paper over boards with gilt titling to spine and gilt motif to upper cover. Minimal rubs, else fine in slipcase.
