Not found in Moser's various catalogues, this image and its mythological subject recall his other engraving, The Garden of Satanic Delights (1971), and his Eight Wood Engravings on a Theme of Pan (1980). Likely a proof print that was unrealized in a final production. Cut-out at center—seemingly intentional because it fits the contours of the Pan-figure's face—else near fine. (Image measures 7 by 5 in.; 178x129 mm).
