Octavo. 27, (2)ff. folders. Each folder is cut-out in a square shape on the first page to reveal the innovative "gem" on the lower page. The gems are created by printing a letter in different colors and in different configurations, the whole appearing to be a cut stone. The typeface is noted beneath. The variety achieved by arranging the colorful letters in this fashion is quite amazing. There are round-cut, square, and diamond-shaped "gems" in a variety of colors. In the original alphabetically printed box, which shows light edgewear and three stains to upper lid, else near fine.
