25pp. An episode in Kipling's beloved "Just So Stories," nicely printed with a colored initial and colored ornaments to title page. Detrick was introduced to letterpress printing by her father-in-law, Ward Ritchie. She explains that the Kipling books were at first "a way to use remnants from other printing projects," but "they were truly a joy to make." One of only three recorded miniature books by the Press. Bound by Betty Storz in marbled boards with printed label, backed in gilt-stamped leather. Fine. (Bradbury p.13). (2 5/8 by 2 3/16; 66x56mm).
