64pp. Noted by Bradbury as "high spots in any miniature book collection," the Aunt Fanny volumes offer stories about common childhood activities and are known for introducing secular material to the moral and religious content prevailing in children's literature at the time. In this tale, Fanny and her friends plan a bazaar in order to help the "poor sick and wounded soldiers" of the Union Army. Bound in brown cloth boards with title and decorative design gilt-stamped to the front cover. Spine a touch faded, else a very fine copy. A.e.g. (Bradbury, p. 187). (1 7/16 by 1 1/16; 37x28mm).
