Folio. (11)ff. Between Azze's linocuts, which combine the spiritual, industrial, ancestral, and social aspects of the city, punctuate the collected poems concerned with the same. Particularly emblematic is the concluding illustration, which shows an angel entering San Jose Church. A literal entry to life in Holguín, with cover wrapper showing a collograph of a door and paper hinges pasted over the spine, plus paper mesh belly band sporting a three-dimensional reproduction of a door knocker. All housed in bag of handmade paper with open sides, but with band to hold the book. Some rubbing, else near fine. Laid in is a sheet from the Cuban newspaper Granma, February 20, 20206 issue, with article commemorating the anniversary of the beginning of the Cuban Revolution in 1895.
