Octavo. iii, 21pp. A compilation of poems composed in honor of Edward Thomas, among the Great War poets of England. Ornaments all hand-colored, including a Thomas's monogram. Contributors are mostly of Georgian affiliation, including W. H. Davies, Walter de la Mare, Gordon Bottomley, Vivian Locke Ellis, and John Gawsworth, but with the intriguing addition of Robert Frost. Helen Thomas has inscribed this copy to Gwen John, but a curious recipient given that John died in 1939 and the inscription is dated June 1951. Bound in full green leather over boards with gilt titling to spine. Stray rubs, spine lightly sunned, residual bit of paper adhered to lower board, else very good. Original boards bound in.
