Octavo. (58)pp. Engravings throughout by Wormell capture the agricultural, somewhat haunted atmospheres of Gray's Elegy in a Country Churchyard and Goldsmith's The Deserted Village. Initials printed in green. With an Afterword on the lives of the poets, followed by an errata slip bound-in. Issued with an extra suite of the engravings, housed in portfolio of black paper over boards backed in black silk. The book itself is bound in matching black silk with gray paper edged in pale green over boards. Both housed in slipcase. Very fine.
