Folio. 135, (6)pp. Illustrated with five etchings by Alan James Robinson of the Press of the Sea Turtle and Cheloniidae Press, one for each of the "Big Five," along with numerous wood engravings and line drawings throughout. One of the Classics in African Hunting Series, the text was written by professional hunter Robin Hurt, with maps and charts to supplement Robinson's artwork. Robinson also designed the book, along with Jacque Neufeld and Ludo Wurfbain at Safari Press, and it was printed at the Stinehour Press. Bound in half leather and paper over boards by Peter Geraty at Praxis Bindery, with gilt titling and a map of Africa on the front cover in black. Lacking the slipcase, likely because this is a proof copy. Fine.
