24mo. 23pp. This is the first "authentic" edition, preceded by a T. J. Wise forgery falsely dated 1886. An extremely scarce bit of Stevensoniana, bound in gray paper over boards backed in red cloth and stamped in red and gilt. General mild soiling, some rubs to corners, else very good. (Beinecke 408)
