An anthology of poetry spurred by the Great War, from some of the most notable British writers of their period: Edith Sitwell, Osbert Sitwell, Sacheverell Sitwell, Aldous Huxley, Arnold James, Francesco Quevedo, Iris Tree, Wilfred Owen, and Sherard Vines. Front cover and endpapers illustrated by William Roberts, who composed them in the midst of his stylistic shift from the speedy Vorticism of Wyndham Lewis to an Anglicized Cubism, following Picasso. Boards backed in black cloth. Edges somewhat rubbed, sunning to spine, else very good.
