Square octavo. (10)ff, frenchfold. Webb's seven surreal and raw drawings were printed from magnesium plates and coated with beeswax, giving them the illusion of glossy vellum. They seem like images captured in motion, and so make a suitable pair with Haviaras' philosophical and tangential poetic style. Calligraphy to title page and cover by Jerry Kelly. Printed by Webb and Michael Russem at Kat Ran Press in Florence, MA. Bound by Webb and Peter Verheyen in quarter vellum and cream paper over boards, with title to vellum of upper cover. Fine. Laid in is a sheet printed by Russem on the occasion of his second visit to the United Kingdom and his first visit to the Whittington Summer Show, on which is a hand-drawn snail.
