Two proofs of the book - one significantly annotated and the other with Angelo's illumination and hand-coloring to title and first pages - with what is presumably the original envelope for one or both upon shipment from Angelo to the book's publisher, Harold Hugo, at his Golden Cross Press. Three autographed letters from Angelo to Hugo, sent in November and December of 1937, detail the project's evolution as well as the congeniality of the partnership. All materials fine, with only expected soiling from friendly use.
