Like the Yeatses, Gogarty was deeply entrenched in the Irish Revivalist scene of the 20th century both as a political progressive and as a poet. He was the inspiration for Buck Mulligan in James Joyce's Ulysses. Bound in quarter buckram with blue paper over boards. Fine in the publisher's original glassine. (Miller 62)
