Octavo. viii, 311pp + (8)ff publisher's advertisements. Stevenson's sequel to Treasure Island has been in its first edition granted a color fold-out map as frontispiece. Ads dated 5G.7.86. Bound in reddish cloth over boards with gilt spine titling. Modest rubs to edges and corners, small speckled stains to upper board, some foxing to text block edges and initial leaves. Else a tight, very good copy. Signature of former owner at front flyleaf. (Beinecke 381)
