48 chromolithographed cards on thin card stock, each measuring 3 3/4 by 2 9/16 inches (97x61 mm). Each card (save for the illustrated title card) highlights a different letter of the alphabet, including dipthongs, and with depictions of words that begin with those letters or composites. A rare set, known only in one institutional holding (Biblioteca Nacional de Espana), this example retains its original printed paper wrapper, in which it came to us. Some professional stabilizing repair to the fragile wrapper. Overall fine.
