Octavo. (42)pp., + 5ff. of reproduced drawings in a portfolio. This book at once gives credit to Robert for being the first to produce machine-made paper, and is also an homage by Morris to his friend and collaborator, Leonard Schlosser. It was Schlosser who rescued Robert's drawings from oblivion, and these are reproduced here in full color. Fine in cloth, housed together with the portfolio in a tray case. Facsimile of one of the full sheets of assignats, as it came from the printing press, laid in, along with the prospectus, original sales receipt, and previous owner's bookplate. Still in original shipping container. (Bird & Bull Bibliography A63).
