Octavo. (32)ff. Schwarz's lithographs display a strong allegiance to the simultaneous, or Orphic, art of Robert Delaunay with brilliant colors arranged in overlapping geometries. These are printed on various handmade sheets, while the texts of Keats's poems appear on Japanese papers. The marriage of textual and pictorial materials here consummates an impression of Keats as proto-modern, and of modernism as intractable from Romanticism. Bound in boards covered with a variety of papers. Fine.
