Oblong quarto. (8)ff + (2)ff colophon. Toxicodendron radicans is the genus and species for poison ivy, an apt allegory for the invasive attitude of the American government toward Cuba. Daiber and his collaborator, Cuban artist Ibrahim Miranda, convey this insidious policy habit by overprinting silkscreen images onto maps taken from the 1978 Atlas de Cuba. Among those images are oxen and tabacco leaves, as well as the facade of the U. S. Embassy in Cuba. Map sheets bound-in and fold out in two directions. Fine in blue paper wrappers with green poison ivy stem to upper cover.
