Octavo. 112pp. With full-page illustrations by Blaine throughout, whose decadent style is a fine match for Verlaine's French Symbolist writing. The limitation statement contradicts itself, claiming either 50 or 49 deluxe copies with an extra illustration and signed by Blaine. This copy suggests an even lower number: it is number 47, but lacks the illustration and signature. Bound in quarter black cloth with green decorated paper over boards. Rubs to corners, faint sunning to spine, else very good.
