A car-themed board game, containing game board, a volvelle in original printed glassine, rulebook and quick reference rule sheet, dyed wooden coins, franc-notes, player tokens, dice, character cards, and various cards signifying gasoline and various events both positive and negative. Likely complete and incredibly scarce. Dujardin later invented the the more famous card game, Milles Bourne. Some of the character cards use racial stereotypes to problematically depict Black and indigenous Americans. Housed in box; lower portion with inset removable trays and illustrated panel, upper with paper labels including one celebrating the award of the silver medal by the Concours Lépine. Mild rubbing overall, some soiling and staining to box lid, else near fine.
