Subjects range from downtown Manhattan "as seen from an aeroplane," to the ruins of a Roman arch in Andalusia, to musicians in Java. Gathered together, the images present a view to the world through the (literal) lens of technology. The use of 3D as a printing gimmick came partially in response to the similar technical wonders in cinema - the 1922 picture The Power of Love was the first feature film to use anaglyphic, stereoscopic images. Bound in alterable binder of pale orange wrappers with notches to lower cover to hold the cardboard glasses, which are still present. Moderate soiling, rubbing and creasing to corners, rusting to binder brads, but pages themselves quite tidy and bright. A very good copy of an ephemeral item, with few institutional holdings.
