60 cut-figure cards consisting of rearrangeable heads, torsos, and legs of various characters from familiar children's tales. This set has a particularly literary bent, featuring Alice in Wonderland, Robinson Crusoe, Peter Pan, and Don Quixote. Each figure comprises two sets of three cards to be mixed and matched to create either the complete body or a mismash of features. The instruction sheet, usually evasive even for otherwise complete sets, is included. According to the rules, the player who exhausts his or her cards first by completing as many figures as possible wins the game. This is marked by the publisher as a "British production" for local sale, rather than the export market. Cards all near fine and quite unsullied save at edges, instruction sheet faintly toned and tender at creases. All housed in paper carton with upper label rather foxed and general rubbing to corners, lower lid has all corners detached, and bears the label of McMillans department store in Abderdeen. 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 in.
