Octavo. xv, 255pp. The first edition of Wise's quite comprehensive bibliography was privately printed in a very limited number of copies, hence its present rarity. With 41 facsimiles of title pages, manuscripts, and other Bronteana. Bound in mauve-gray paper over boards. Mild splits to front joint, some overall exterior toning, nevertheless rather robust with a clean interior. Good to very good. Signature of former owner to front flyleaf.
