Octavo. 189, (3)pp. Edited by Leyland, whose Gay Sunshine Press was the oldest publisher dedicated to LGBTQ+ material in the United States, this compilation of erotic short stories is more than just titillating literature; it normalizes the experiences and relationships of gay men, clearing out certain taboos even as it plays on them for pornographic delight. Interspersed are four erotic photographs. Notably, included at the back is a page on safe sex and AIDS prevention - an early attempt at getting the word out to the community about the threat of HIV/AIDS. The Press customarily dealt in periodicals and paperbacks; the deluxe editions of its books are very scarce. Bound in blue paper covered boards backed in blue striped cloth. Pale marginal toning, else fine.
