Quarto. (iv), 45pp. With a note by Ginsberg on the poem. A very fine copy of one of the iconic poems of the Beat Generation, of San Francisco poetry, and indeed of the twentieth century. The notable revisions here to the original poem are Ginsberg's manipulations of the names, many of which as he explains in prefatory note were initially altered or obscured until such time as all living could give their approval to unmasking. A fine copy in pictorial cloth showing fireworks erupting over San Francisco. Prospectus laid in.
