Quarto. 7ff printed on abaca paper; 14 sheets of cherry veneer forming six double-page collages. These collages incorporate many of Glaister's signature materials: painted brushed aluminum, paper, and Mylar; against the wood, these form a very modern response to Whitman's seemingly timeless appeal to our humanity. The colophon indicates that Glaister created this work as a response to what he described as "pandemic years of incomplete responses," lending Whitman's words an urgency that remains especially relevant in the post-pandemic world. In a binding by Glaister of black morocco with cherry veneer onlays that echo the interior collages, and housed in a cloth folding case with paper title label on spine. Fine.
