First edition. A provocative publication for the period, during which Culbertson turned his attentions from postwar planning (the front jacket flap hails his "Culbertson Plan") to wartime geopolitical theory. His lofty ambition results in a series of step-by-step guidelines and receives a keen graphic representation with a fold-out between pages 248 and 249, which explicates Culbertson's Quota Force Principle, otherwise known as "the solution of the dilemma which has thwarted all peace-planners." Bound in red cloth over boards. Some soiling to text block, moderate edgewear, else very good with Culbertson's initials in pencil to upper board. In good dust wrapper.
