An enormous compilation of Froebel exercises, with examples of paper cutting, paper weaving, paper folding, beadwork, abstract and figural embroidery, and silhouettes, prefaced by an original painting at the initial page. The album thus encompasses nearly all the Froebel gifts applicable in two dimensions, with added flourishes of eccentric colors (electric green, deep purple, various bright pinks) and the inclusion of various photographs and postcards collaged into woven paper frames and embroidered sheets. The French language along the borders of the photos suggest the album's origin. Bound in half black cloth with mottled paper over boards. Modest exterior rubbing, cosmetic wear to spine, else very good with colorful tissue guards still present.
