Three-color poster advertising the Repertory Company's tribute to the mercurial Hellman. Gorey's illustration depicts Hellman's Another Part of the Forest, one of the two productions to be performed in her memory. The other was, as printed, The Little Foxes, one of the most searing living-room dramas of the 20th century. According to lore, this first issue of Gorey’s tribute poster was discarded due to a printing error (the part of the white dress visible behind the tree is miscolored), and surviving copies exist because they were rescued from the dumpster.
