Octavo. (xvi) (394)pp. Kent's autobiography, which he followed up with It's Me O Lord in 1955, contains over 100 illustrations by him. Kent also designed the binding, title-page, and format of the book. Inscribed by Kent to Martha and Alex Geckler, longtime friends he met while working on Briarcombe Farm in Winona, Minnesota. Kent devotes several pages to the Gecklers in his 1955 autobiography. Bound in cream cloth, stamped in navy to spine and front cover. Small bump to lower corner, else fine and bright in heavily chipped dust wrapper.
