Oblong quarto. (24)pp. Color lithographs, with stipple effect, have been designed by Preissig to unify the simple linework of propounded by the likes of Arthur Wesley Dow to the naturalism of Art Nouvea, all in service of life on a farm. Preissig would later become particularly notable for his work on WWI recruitment images for the Czech forces and then his work for Boston's Wentworth Institute of Technology. Bound in gray paper wrappers printed in blue, somewhat soiled and with light creases to corners. Very good.
