Small octavo. 8ff. Each leaf illustrated in rectos only with full-color image above a perforated line, below which is the outline of the same image for coloring. Each model is identified in caption below image with a more detailed description printed on verso. The models covered in this beautifully-produced coloring book range from an 1894 Peugeot Type 5, which competed in and won the first "horseless carriage" competition - the Paris-Rouen race, up to the 1935 Campbell-Railton Blue Bird, which set the land speed record that year at Daytona. This is number 14 in a series of instructive coloring books, the titles of which seem focused on design, transportation, and architecture. Juan Barguñó y Cía was a commercial publisher in Barcelona specializing in graphic material, such as posters and calendars, the format of which is shared by the present work. Unrecorded in OCLC. Bound calendar-style in highly decorated color wrappers, the cover image of which appears to be signed "Carvallo." Small tear to exterior paper hinge, else nearly fine.
