Octavo, landscape-oriented. Six pop-up and movable spreads designed by Kubasta, here for a Soviet export market. Kubasta's innovative paper mechanisms are on full display, with pivots, slides, swings, and reveals to help narrate one dog's derring-do in romantic pursuit of a cat. Bound in pictorial cardstock backed in white cloth. Boards fairly soiled and rather rubbed along edges, some elements weak or creased, scene at third spread partially detached and with loss of dog's hat. A good copy.
