Square 16mo. (32)pp. The twenty-six contributors were the twenty-six second grade classmates at Nootka Elementary, among whom was Rollin Milroy's daughter, Lilian. Each student illustrated an endangered animal to represent a letter of the alphabet, from the Andean Mountain Cat to the Bandicoot, the Yak to the Zebra. An errata slip notes possible errors in the setting, and explains that these have been let lie in order to "provide additional intellectual stimulation to the sharp minds who created the work." Designed by Milroy with assistance from Barbara Hodgson. Bound in paste paper wrappers designed by Claudia Cohen. Fine. A rare, personal bit of Heavenly Monkey publishing.
