Often the covers were illustrated with wood engravings and verses that were not relevant to the text inside, as is the case here. A page of alphabets and numbers appears on the verso of the title page. The House That Jack Built was the only 24-page title that was not published by Kendrew in other formats. Small stain to rear cover, else fine in green wrappers.
