Large octavo. (10)pp. To commemorate its tenth anniversary, the Movable Book Society here celebrates over 700 years of movable book history. Each page features a remarkable artist of each era of paper construction, whose signature style and techniques literally unfold before the reader via reproductions of their work. Contributing authors are Andrew Baron, Alan Boehm, Ann R. Montanaro, Ellen G. K. Rubin, Robert Sabuda, and Roy Ziegler. Paper reproductions by Andrew Baron and Kyle Olmon at Popyrus Studio, and by Sam Ida, Matthew Reinhart, and Robert Sabuda at Librum Artifex. Bound in silver-stamped purple cloth, with the first paper reproduction inset to upper cover. Very fine and fresh in matching slipcase, and housed in the original cardboard mailing box.
