Octavo. 179pp. Numerous initials designed by W. W. Denslow and printed in green. The text of Tennyson's elegy is set in Old Style Antique. The bibliographer for the press, Paul McKenna, records two bindings for the edition, one of suede and one of three-quarters levant; this is neither, instead in fully brown morocco with spine in six compartments and gilt titling thereon, and with gilt rolls and rules to edges and dentelles. An unsigned production, but nevertheless showing technical mastery. Modest rubs to extremities, single mote of residue to rear board, spine slightly toned fingerprints to p. iii, else near fine, with ribbon bookmark intact. Near fine. (McKenna 26)
