Octavo. 70pp. Schlosser's "Some Early Milanese Paper Wrappers," is illustrated by sixteen reproductions of wrapper emblems. Morris' "More Adventures in Papermaking, etc." concerns the paper and watermarks used for French currency in the 18th century. As well as several photographs, this essay includes two original banknotes from 1793, laid-into a paper pocket. Irregular fading to front board and faint fading to edges, else near fine in printed boards backed in morocco. Engraved seals of birds, bulls, cows, etc. from Greece laid in, along with bookplate of previous owner. (Bird & Bull Bibliography A17).
