24mo. 24; 22; 14pp. Laid in is an original watercolor by H. D. C. Pepler, on the verso of which is an inscription from Pepler to Eric and Ethel Gill dated "24. XII. 15." Across all three texts are wood engravings by Gill, mainly as head- and tail-pieces, but also with his "Christ and the Money Changers" at the start of the final text, War Memorial. Desmond Chute contributed his hound to handbooks eight and nine, and David Jones leant his own version of the same to the cover and title page of handbook ten (although these are missing in this particular copy, the covers having been removed and the title page and other parerga lacking). The final installments in the St. Dominic's series of welfare handbooks have been bound together, likely by a contemporary to their publication, in half leather with buckram over boards and gilt titling to spine. Some fraying to buckram, generic rubs to edges, else near fine.
