Octavo. 80, (5)ff. Illustrated throughout with mimeographed drawings, including a running motif of Charlie Chaplin's famous bowler hat. Chaplin's slapstick, gestural approach to modern life and cinema provides Marruz with a stylistic mirror for her poetry. To emphasize the point, a strip of 16mm film, split in half, serves as bookmark. Bound in plain wrappers backed with cloth tape, with paper collage at upper cover, including an illustration of Chaplin. Mild foxing, few chips along edges, else very good. Among the rare Vigia publications, with only three in United States institutions.
