Quarto. 92pp. Illustrated throughout in collage and mimeograph. The very first issue of the press's house magazine, which became its largest publishing enterprise and was designed to platform a greater variety of writers and artists, both Cuban and not.. As here, each one had a pergamino (folded broadside) pocketed in, also one of 200 copies. The range of the contents include poems by Fernando Pessoa, Eugene Ionesco, Gustave Flaubert, Octavio Paz, and Carlos Martinez Rivas, who also contributed the pergamino. The whole begins with the manifesto of the press and its aims for the journal. Bound in brown corrugated wrappers with collaged covers. Some overall spotting and rubbing, else very good. A foundational artifact of a significant Cuban press.
