Octavo. 147pp. One of the few Ediciones Vigía books collaboratively produced by two designers, Elizabeth Valero and Frank David Valdés. Illustrations throughout of photocopied drawings and paper collages visually montage Cuban and Argentine postage stamps, feathers, flower, and hands. The implied affinity between global communication and natural migration is likewise fundamental to Reyes's poetry, and is a subject increasingly potent in our present period of rapid climate change and multimedia connectivity. Bound in crinkled brown paper over stiff cardstock, with paper collage to upper cover. Fine. Housed in slipcase decorated with block-printed feathers and an image of a half-bird, half-man.
