Quarto. 133pp. Frontispiece and title page device by Lynd Ward. Throughout our other examples of early 20th-century illustration work for children, including from William Siegel, Helen Sewell, Jessie Willcox Smith, and Kay Nielsen. Co-published by the Women's Educational and Industrial Union. Bound in tan cloth over boards with Ward's title motif replicated at upper cover. Modestly shelf-sunned, rubbed at extremities, mild bumps to corners, but interior quite clean. Very good. Signature of former owner at front pastedown.
