With a black & white frontispiece portrait of Goddard, as well as an eight-cent Goddard U.S. postage stamp, tipped in. Bound in full blue calf with gilt lettering and a portrait of Goddard to the front cover, gilt lettering to spine. Endpapers illustrated with rocket blueprints. Fine. A.e.g. A copy of this book was taken on the first space launch to the moon and is now in the collection of the Clark University library in Worcester. (Bondy, p. 170; Bromer/Edison, p. 165).
