Square 16mo. 36pp. Advertised as "the magazine you play on your phonograph," the issue contains five thin, hi-fi LP records interleaved among various articles and images. The magazine clearly aimed to appeal to a wide audience, given the range of genres represented. They are: Steve Allen - The Synthesis of a Song, The End of an Era - Queen Elizabeth's Royal Tour, Lady Chatterley's Lover - A Dramatic Episode, Ahmad Jamal Trio - Syncopated Silence, and World's Most Exciting Race - Le Mans 1959. Comb-bound to meet the required flexibility, and with the needed hole drilled through the text block's center. In pictorial wrappers, with rear providing directions for use - though this, based its intact center, apparently never attempted. Moderate edgewear, else near fine.
